A stipend of Rs. 1000 per month would be given to SC students enrolled in colleges, along with an amount of Rs. 2000/-for students towards book purchases. The plan aims to encourage SC students to pursue higher education. Every Govt. College in Haryana will adopt the program. A stipend will be paid to the students every two months, provided that they attend at least 60% of the classes. When a student’s attendance falls below 60%, they will not be paid a stipend for that specific bi-monthly period. However, if they meet the attendance requirements within the next two months, they may be eligible to receive a withheld stipend for this period, which would mean they would receive payment for four months instead of two. The purpose of this requirement is to encourage students to attend class more regularly.
Girls who are enrolled in any government college after clearing their 10+2 exam with at least 60% will be awarded this scholarship. Only those students enrolled in regular degree programs will be eligible for the prizes. Applicants who continue their education at open institutions or through correspondence courses will not be eligible to receive the grant. A recipient of this scheme’s scholarship will not be eligible for another scholarship or stipend. Nonetheless, they are free to accept a minority assistance grant from the State Government or any other source to pay for boarding and lodging costs, books, and equipment. This scheme has no income restrictions.
Three deserving students from each stream who placed first, second, and third in the yearly university exam will get this incentive. The program is college-specific. Only those students enrolled in ordinary courses at government colleges will be eligible for the reward. The scholarship will not be available to applicants from non-governmental colleges or those who attend open universities or correspondence courses. These awards have no upper-income limit. Each stream—the arts, commerce, science (medical and non-medical), and education—will receive a different reward. Students who place first in the merit will receive Rs. 5000/- per year, second in the merit will receive Rs. 3000/- per year, and third in the merit will receive Rs. 2000/- per year.
This program will only be available to Top Meritorious Students—a boy and a girl—who placed first in the yearly CBSE exams for grades 10 and 12. A sum of incentives will be awarded to the top-scoring boys and girls from the 10th grade in Haryana State’s CBSE exam if they pursue higher education at the 10+2 and even degree levels. The State Government will cover all of his or her expenses till the student graduates in any field; however, this amount cannot exceed Rs. 1 lac per year for students pursuing a degree or graduation in any field, or more than Rs. 25,000/-per year up to the 10+2 level.
People can apply for this scholarship to get monthly financial support, allowing them to continue their studies without worrying about money. If students have passed their class 12 board examinations and are thinking about pursuing their desired degree, they are eligible to apply for this award. If students apply for this scholarship through the official Haryana Government scholarship portal website, their applications will be taken into consideration by the government of Haryana.
These scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in any of the approved post-matriculation courses offered by the National Fire Service College, Nagpur, including the Air Craft Maintenance Engineer course, the Training Ship Dufferin course, the Military College Dehradun course, and the Pre-examination training courses offered by the Pre-examination training centers in Allahabad and Bangalore that get students ready for tests like the I.A.D. For students to be eligible for this grant, they must belong to low-income groups.
