The objective of MHRD Scholarship 2024
MHRD Scholarship 2024: Offering scholarship packages to students who wish to study both domestically and abroad is the aim of the MHRD organization. The Department of School Education and Literacy and the Department of Higher Education are the two departments that oversee the approximately eighteen scholarships that are offered. The chosen students will use the scholarship recipients’ portion of the benefits to pay for their educational costs. Students from the economically disadvantaged segments of our society will be the primary target audience for these scholarships.

MHRD Scholarship 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The candidate needs to fulfil the following criteria in order to be qualified to apply for any of the MHRD Scholarship’s several categories:
1. Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students Eligibility Criteria
The candidate ought to be enrolled in engineering or medical programmes at AICTE, DCI, or MCI-accredited universities.
The candidate in the twelfth grade ought to be in the uppermost creamy layer of the 80 percentile and above in terms of scoring
Family income should not exceed INR 8 lakh per year.
No additional scholarship funding should be given to the candidate.
Those who are enrolled in regular courses only need to apply.
2. Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) for Jammu and Kashmir
Eligibility Criteria:
Students may apply if they are J&K residents.
The only acceptable levels of education are 10+2 or 10+3 (diploma) from the J&K State Board, J&K State Polytechnic, or CBSE.
You can apply if you want to study inside or outside of J&K.
The family should not earn more than INR 8 lakh per year.
3. National Scheme of Incentive to Girls for Secondary Education ( NSIGSE)
Eligibility Criteria:
SC/ST unmarried girls below the age of 16 studying in 9th grade state government, local body schools, or government-aided schools can apply.
The candidate should have cleared class 8th from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas.
4. National means cum merit scholarship
Eligibility Criteria:
Students in class 9 are eligible to apply.
Only those who are willing to continue into their tenth and even twelfth grades may apply.
The minimum score on the eighth-grade exam should be at least 55%. (5% relaxation permitted for SC/ST) The minimum score for Class 7 must be 55% (required for the selection test).
Family income should not exceed 1.50 lakhs per year.
Applicants must be enrolled in or have finished a BE, B. Tech, B. Tech, or Integrated M.Sc course at one of the top universities in the country, such as IITs, IISCs, NITs, IISERs, or IIITs.
Applicants may apply if they have applied for admission through the SCB, JEE, KVPY, or UCEED entrance exams.
A candidate may also apply if they have completed or pursued courses within the last five years.
6. AICTE Pragati Scholarship for girls
Eligibility Criteria:
Female students accepted into their first year of study may submit an application.
Only AICTE-recognized centres should accept candidates for their courses.
A family’s annual income ought to be less than Rs. 8 lakh.
A family may submit an application with a maximum of two female children.
7. AICTE-Saksham scholarship scheme
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates with disabilities may apply.
Disability should be at least 40% of the total. Applicants must be admitted to the first year of a degree programme.
Candidates should only be enrolled in courses at AICTE-approved institutions.
The annual income of a family should not exceed Rs 8 lakh.
8. Commonwealth Scholarships in the UK
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants may apply if they are post-graduate or fully graduated.
Those in their last year of education are also qualified to apply.
It is required to receive a minimum score of 60% in social science and 65% in science.
The age should not exceed forty years.
The only people who need to apply are those who are enrolled in Mphil programmes at UK universities and are further planning to pursue a Ph.D.
9. New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria:
Accessible to students wishing to finish their education in New Zealand.
A minimum of 65% in a bachelor’s or master’s degree is required to apply.
10. Chinese Government Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarships are available for undergraduate studies, masters programs, doctoral studies, general scholar studies, and senior scholar studies.
For undergraduate programs, a minimum of 60% in class 12 and an age below 25 years.
For postgraduate programs, a minimum of 60% in graduation and an age below 35 years.
For doctoral research, a minimum of 60% post-graduation and an age below 40 years.
General scholar program eligibility: at least 2 years of enrolment in any undergraduate program plus a 60% score in the qualifying exam and an age less than 45 years.
Senior scholar program Eligibility: Must be serving as an associate professor plus a master degree with a minimum score of 60% and age less than 50 years.
11. South Korean Government Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria:
Master’s, doctoral, and post-doctoral programs are available.
minimum age requirement of 40 years old and a bachelor’s degree for a master’s degree.
A master’s degree is required, as well as being under 40 years old, for doctoral studies.
A doctorate or diploma and being younger than 45 years old are prerequisites for postdoctoral studies.
A minimum of 65% must be obtained in order to pursue courses in biotechnology and electrical engineering.
Scholarships are offered for Ph.D. programmes at the master’s and research levels.
Research programs: min. 65% or higher on the bachelor’s degree exam.
Ph.D. programmes require a minimum of 65% on the Master’s degree.

13. Italian Government Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarships are awarded for research related to Italian language and culture, master’s degrees, and doctoral programmes.
For master’s programmes, a minimum Indian graduation and a younger age limit of 28 are required.

14. Mexican Government Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D., master’s, or bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 80 (on a scale of 1 to 100)
must be enrolled in classes at any participating institution.
15. Israel Government Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants need to have an Israel University acceptance letter in hand.
In order to conduct research or specialise in fields such as chemistry, biology, agriculture, economics, environmental studies, biotechnology, mass communication, or business management, a master’s degree is a minimum requirement.
Candidates should be enrolled in at least a minimum of post-graduate studies in order to pursue Hebrew language courses.
A strong command of Hebrew and English is required.
16. Brazilian Government Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria:
The ideal age range is 18 to 25 years old.
The candidate must have at least 60% in English and at least 60% in class 12.
Applicants who are in their final year of study need to present a letter or certificate of authorization.
Portuguese language proficiency is a must
17. Presidential Scholarships, Sri Lanka
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates pursuing graduation can apply.
Age to be less than 25 years.
This scholarship is not for engineering, medicine, or dentistry courses.
18. Ms. Agatha Harrison Memorial Fellowship
Eligibility Criteria:
Good merit history and steady grades.
60% or higher on the post-graduation exam.
PHD. It is necessary to have a degree in the relevant field of study.
The ideal age range is between 30 and 40 years old.
It takes commitment to advance a history, political science, or economics academic career.
It’s also essential to have graduate-level or postgraduate teaching experience in related fields after earning a Ph.D.
