Features of UP Government Scholarship

The UP Scholarship Scheme is a comprehensive effort that offers scholarships to help state students pay for their studies.

Using the SAKSHAM website, students enrolled in state-run institutions and universities as well as occasionally those outside of it can apply for the stipend. Step-By-Step Application Guide

The Uttar Pradesh government introduced its online scholarship and fee refund system to streamline the application procedure.

Only during the designated application period may all qualified students use our online application system to apply for the appropriate scholarships. This is a quick overview of the steps students must take in order to apply for any of the scholarships that the UP government offers.

Step 1: New student registration

• Check out the Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement Online System’s official website at scholarship.up.gov.in, operated by the UP Government.
• Select “New Registration” after clicking on the “Student” column.
• Choose the scholarship that the candidates wish to apply for.
• Complete all fields that are shown with an asterisk (*).
• To register, click “Submit.”
• Save the registration slip printed for your records.

Step 2: Student Login

• After registering, go to the “Student” area and choose the option labeled “Fresh Login” for new applications and “Renewal Login” for applications that are being renewed, depending on the scholarship the candidates are vying for.
• Enter your password, birth date, and registration number to log in.
• It will launch the page with crucial instructions for filling out the form.
• Click “Proceed” after carefully reading all instructions and checking the box at the bottom of the page.

• Select the “Complete the application form” option.
• Complete the scholarship application form by adding more details.

Step 4: Upload all supporting documents

Students must attach their photos and any supporting documents after completing the application form.

Step 5: Final submission online

Applicants are recommended to carefully review all filled-out information before submitting the application form in its final form to prevent any discrepancies later on. Furthermore, after applying, there is no way for the applicant to edit the data they entered.

Step 6: Submission of form at the respective educational institution
