AICTE-Saksham Scholarship 2024: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under the Ministry of Education has launched the AICTE-Saksham Scholarship Scheme 2024–25, which is intended for students with disabilities who have been accepted into the first year of technical degree or diploma programmes at any AICTE-approved institution. This programme attempts to support and motivate children with special needs to pursue technical education. For each year of study, the chosen candidates will receive ₹50,000 annually.
Objectives
The AICTE Saksham Scholarship for Specially Abled Students 2024’s primary goal is to provide financial assistance to deserving or underprivileged students who wish to finish their education in order to become financially independent and create better futures for themselves. In 2024, students will receive financial support through the AICTE Saksham Scholarship for Specially Abled Students, allowing them to focus on their education rather than their future. All students should value education, but most of the time, we overlook this fact and come up with absurd justifications for students with disabilities. The true goal of education, however, is to empower disabled students to become self-sufficient or self-reliant and to stop feeling like a burden to others.

Reward Details
The selected students will get a scholarship amount of Rs 50000 per year for the expenses of their education, which will cover stationary items, tuition fees, and other accommodation.

AICTE-Saksham Scholarship For Specially Abled Degree Students
Specially abled degree students can receive financial aid for their technical course graduation through the AICTE Saksham Scholarship. For first-year admitted students, the scholarship amount will be extended for a maximum of four years, while for second-year admitted students, the maximum time period is three years. There won’t be any more grants to cover living expenses, hospital bills, etc. The benefit amount will be transferred via the DBT method. Students enrolled in graduation courses in technical fields at AICTE-affiliated institutions will be eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
- At least 40% of the students should have a different disability.
- In the first year of the degree programme, students should enrol in the technical department of an associated institution; in the second year, they should enrol through lateral entry.
- Students’ families shouldn’t make more than Rs. 8 lakh a year.
- Students must present an income certificate that has been authorised by the UT or state government.
AICTE-Saksham Scholarship For Specially Abled Diploma Students
The AICTE Saksham Scholarship for Diploma Candidates with Special Needs provides financial support for these candidates’ coursework. First-year admitted students, who have a maximum time duration of three years, will continue to receive the scholarship amount; second-year admitted students have a maximum time duration of two years. There won’t be any more grants to cover living expenses, hospital bills, etc. The benefit amount will be transferred via the DBT method. Students enrolled in diploma programmes in technical fields at AICTE-affiliated institutions will be eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
- At least 40% of the students should have a different disability.
- The first year of the diploma programme should be taken at the AICTE-affiliated institution, or lateral entry may be used for the second year of the programme.
- Students’ families shouldn’t make more than Rs. 8 lakh a year.
- Students must present an income certificate that has been authorised by the UT or state government.

AICTE-Saksham Scholarship For Specially Abled Students Registration
- Applicants must first go to the National Scholarship Portal’s official website.
- The homepage will load on your screen; you need to choose the “New Registration” option there.
- After viewing the instructions on the newly displayed page, click the “Continue” button.
- You will now see the registration page on your screen. If all the relevant information, including:
- State
- Scholarship Category
- Name of the student
- Scheme type
- Gender
- Mobile number
- Email ID
- Bank IFSC code
- Bank account number
- Identification details
- Once all of these steps have been completed, click the submit button. The entire registration process will be finished.
AICTE-Saksham Scholarship For Specially Abled Students Login
- Applicants must first go to the National Scholarship Portal’s official website.
- After the homepage loads, you must select the option to “Log in Freshly.”
- The login screen will then appear on your screen. Fill out the following fields, please:

- Once these fields have been completed, click the Login button to finish the procedure.
AICTE-Saksham Scholarship: Apply on National Scholarship Portal
- Visit the national scholarship portal’s official website.
- The home page of the website will appear on the screen.
- In the event that you are not yet registered, choose the new registration option.
- If you are already signed up, click on the login link.
- Once your login has been successful, choose Saksham Scholarship.
- Select the option to apply online that is now available.
- Provide the necessary details when filling out the application.
- Upload the necessary files to the scholarship website.
- Before submitting the application, make sure you have reviewed it carefully.
- Click the submit button now to finish your application for the scholarship.
AICTE-Saksham Scholarship: Renewal
- Visit the national scholarship portal’s official website.
- Now you will see the home page of the website on the screen.
- Navigate to the Login option from the homepage now.
- Now choose the Renewal Login option and the year of login.
- The screen will open with a new login form.
- Put the password and username here.
- Click the login option now.
- The scholarship renewal form will then become available.
- Fill out the application form with the details of the renewal.
- If there is a related document, upload it.
- Before submitting the application in its final form, carefully review it.
- Click the submit button now.
Update Mobile Number
- Visit the national scholarship portal’s official website.
- Now you will see the home page of the website on the screen.
- Navigate to the Login option from the homepage now.
- Now choose the Renewal Login option and the year of login.
- The screen will open with a new login form.
- Select the option to update your mobile number now.
- An application form on a new page will appear.
- Enter your details in the application form.
- Select the Verify and Proceed option now.
