Bihar Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students: Key Eligibility
Category – For Scheduled Caste (SC)
Eligibility Criteria:
- The scholarship is open to post matric level Students (Class 11 to postgraduate level)
- The last qualifying exam must be passed by them.
- The family’s annual income ought to be less than Rs 2,50,000.
- No other scholarship should be awarded to them.
Awards:
- For ten months, maintenance allowances of up to INR 1,200 for hostellers and INR 550 for day scholars each month are provided.
- A monthly stipend of up to INR 240 is extended to students with disabilities.
- Payback of mandatory non-refundable fees

Eligibility Criteria:

Bihar Talent Search Exam, or BTSE: This scholarship was jointly organized by Lok Kalyan Parishad and Employed Edutech Private Limited. This scholarship is available to students who qualify for Bihar Talent Search Examination and are studying in class 7 to 10. Selected students will receive financial assistance up to Rs 20,000 along with gift items like laptops, notepads, tabs etc. There is also a smartwatch and other gift hamper as part of the scholarship
Scholarships for Students with Disabilities after Matriculation: Students with disabilities enrolled in Class 11 through postgraduate studies are eligible for this grant. Candidates for this scholarship must be at least 40% disabled, have a family income of less than INR 2,50,000 per year, and be confirmed by a state government-appointed medical authority or UT. The value of the scholarships will go towards providing books, maintenance, disability, and other expenses for the students.
Pre-Matric Scholarship, Ministry of Labour and Employment: The Ministry of Labour and Employment of the Government of India oversees this scholarship programme. Students in Classes 1 through 10 who are wards of Beedi, Cine, IOMC, or LSDM personnel are eligible to participate in this plan. Under this plan, a scholarship worth up to INR 1,840 would be awarded to selected students.
Department of Labour and Employment Post-Matric Scholarship: The Ministry of Labour and Employment provides a post-matric scholarship, similar to the pre-matric scholarship, to students who are the wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM workers and are enrolled in classes 11 through postgraduation (including diploma programmes). Up to INR 15,000 in scholarships will be awarded to the scholars chosen under this programme.
