  • Candidates who are pursuing Natural/Basic Science courses leading to a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree and who are KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna), National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), Olympiad Medalists, and Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) scholars are eligible.

Renewal of INSPIRE Scholarship 2024

  • The candidate’s performance will largely determine whether the scholarship is renewed.
  • Students have 12 months from the date the results are released to turn in their performance report and result mark sheet.
  • The DST Inspire scholarship will only be available to students who have passed their university or college exams with a grade point average of at least 60% (7.0 GPA).
  • The scholarship is not available to students who did not show up for the exams or who did not receive the required grades.

INSPIRE Scholarship 2024: Selection Process

All applications for scholarships from prospective INSPIRE scholars are submitted, and they are evaluated according to pre-established eligibility criteria. This evaluation results in the creation of a short list of candidates.

INSPIRE Scholarship Amount 2024

  • Students pursuing B.Sc., B.S., or Integrated M.Sc./MS can enrol in INSPIRE-SHE for a five-year period beginning in their first year of study and continuing until the end of the programme, whichever comes first.
  • Complete applications are required; forms that are not submitted will be returned.
  • SHE scholarships do not cover professional courses or distance learning courses provided by open universities.
  • For Inspire Scholars, opening a standard savings account at any State Bank of India branch is all that is needed (SBI). The account cannot be joint; the applicant’s name must appear on it.
  • The international MSc/MSc, BS, and B.Sc. course mark sheets, as well as a year-by-year performance report signed by the institution’s head, must be submitted before the shortlisted candidates can get the scholarship.
  • The head of the institution must indicate in the performance report whether the scholarship is to be renewed for that particular academic year.
  • The scholarship is only given out for the first time after the B.Sc., BS. first-year performance report and mark sheet have been approved. Ms. or M.A. If the candidate’s academic record is good, they will be awarded a two-year scholarship worth Rs. 1,20,000 in the second year of their B.Sc., BS, Int. degree. Ms. or M.A.
