Kendriya Sainik Board Scholarship

Kendriya Sainik Board Scholarship also known as Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme was started in the academic year 2006-07. The main objective of starting this scholarship is to provide scholarship to the dependent wards and widows of ex-servicemen and ex-Coast Guard personnel who have died or become disabled due to hardship due to causes. Objective of Kendriya Sainik Board Scholarship

There are many ex-servicemen and ex-Coast Guard personnel who died and became disabled from causes related to military service. And due to this their children are not able to continue their higher education. Keeping this in mind, the Government of India has introduced this scholarship. Under this scheme, educational opportunities will be provided to wards and widows of ex-servicemen and ex-Coast Guard personnel. With its help they will be able to stand on their feet without thinking about any financial constraints.

Scholarship amount under the scheme

The following scholarship amount will be given to the children of ex-servicemen

• For Boys: Rs. 2,500 per month

Selection Criteria Of Scholarship

1. पहली श्रेणी- कार्रवाई में मारे गए ईएसएम/पूर्व तटरक्षक कर्मियों के वार्ड और विधवाएं
2. दूसरी श्रेणी- ईएसएम/पूर्व तटरक्षक कर्मियों के बच्चे जो कार्रवाई के दौरान अक्षम हो गए और सैन्य/तटरक्षक सेवा के कारण विकलांगता के कारण सेवा से बाहर कर दिए गए।
3. तीसरी श्रेणी- ईएसएम/पूर्व तटरक्षक कर्मियों के वार्ड और विधवाएं जिनकी सेवा के दौरान सैन्य/तटरक्षक सेवा के कारण मृत्यु हो गई।
4. चौथी श्रेणी- सैन्य/तटरक्षक सेवा के कारण विकलांगता के कारण सेवा में अक्षम ईएसएम/पूर्व तटरक्षक कर्मियों के बच्चे।
5. 5वीं श्रेणी- वीरता पुरस्कार प्राप्त करने वाले ईएसएम/पूर्व तटरक्षक कर्मियों के वार्ड और विधवाएं।

छात्रवृत्ति के तहत लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए निम्नलिखित पात्रता मानदंड आवश्यक हैं।

• आवेदक को प्रथम वर्ष में प्रवेश लेना होगा
• उम्मीदवार को अपनी अंतिम परीक्षा में कम से कम 60% अंक प्राप्त करने चाहिए
• जो छात्र अपने दूसरे या उसके बाद के वर्षों में पढ़ रहे हैं वे एकीकृत पाठ्यक्रम को छोड़कर पात्र नहीं हैं
• जो आवेदक पूर्व सैनिकों और पूर्व तट रक्षक कर्मियों के आश्रित वार्ड/विधवाएं हैं, वे आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं
