For Regular Scholars
- Candidates are eligible to apply for scholarships if they passed the Class XII exam (or its equivalent) in the Academic Year 2019–20 with at least 60% of the available points (or an equivalent grade), and if the combined annual income of their parents or guardians is less than Rs. 2,00,000 annually. Students who wish to pursue higher education in the fields of engineering, medicine, certificate courses in any field, graduation in any discipline, or other comparable courses are eligible for the grant. It is provided to students who wish to enroll in courses at industrial training centers (ITIs) and pursue vocational training through colleges and institutions approved by the government.
- All candidates whose parents or guardians make no more than Rs. 2,00,000 combined annually and who passed the Class X exam (or its equivalent) in the 2019–20 academic year with at least 60% of the possible points (or a similar grade). The award is available to students who are keen to continue further education in the field of vocational courses through government-approved colleges and universities or programs at industrial training institutes (ITI).
For Special Girl Child Scholar
- To support girls’ education, girls who successfully finish grade 10 are eligible for a special scholarship good for two years of post-secondary education using the 10 + 2 pattern. To be eligible, the candidate must have completed the Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% of the possible points during the 2019–20 academic year and have parents or guardians with a combined yearly income of no more than Rs. 2,00,000 (from all sources).
