Educational Qualification

  • Master’s candidates must have earned at least 60% in their undergraduate studies.
  • For a doctorate, one must receive at least a 60% master’s degree.
  • University ELP and Tests: You should achieve the minimal ELP scores required by the GMAT, GRE, and other universities.
  • Age Limit: As of April 1st, of that specific year, a maximum age limit of 35 years old
  • Acceptable Family Income Limit: The applicant’s family’s combined income cannot be more than Rs. 8,00,000.
  • Children’s Requirements: This award is only available to the children of the same parent.

Note :

  • This scholarship program does not apply to courses leading to a bachelor’s degree.
  • Applicants who are residing or studying overseas are not eligible for the award.
  • There can only be two candidates per family.
  • The preference will go to those who have two years of prior experience in the appropriate field.

A Few Crucial Details About National Overseas Scholarship

  • The award for that year will become available to candidates from other categories if the winning candidate in that year’s specified category is not available.
  • If there are no female candidates, male candidates will fill the unused spots, with 30% of the total scholarship going to female candidates.
  • This program does not cover any bachelor-level courses in any discipline.
  • Applicants who are currently enrolled in an academic program overseas are not eligible to apply for this grant.
  • The candidate will be chosen for a scholarship award within the first three rounds of selection if they hold a conditional offer of admission to one of the top 1000 universities or institutes according to the most recent QS ranking.

  • There will be newspaper and other media advertisements for this plan.
  • Every year in April, the portal will accept applications for 30 days.
  • The initial cycle of selection will only take into account online applications for the scholarship.
  • The portal will reopen every quarter for a duration of 30 days if the spaces are still available following the initial cycle of selection.
  • The gateway will close after all available spaces are filled.
  • Only applications that are completed online will be considered for awards.
  • Incomplete applications will be returned.

Application Process for National Overseas Scholarship.
