Types Of Vidyasiri Scholarship 2024
Free hostel accommodation/Fee for post-matriccourses
Under this scholarship program, students who have completed their tenth grade and belong to scheduled tribes, scheduled castes, other backward classes, or economically backward class groups will receive free dormitory accommodations and post-matriculation course expenses from the government.
Pratibha Puraskar Scholarship for SSLC/PUC
The scholarship is awarded to the student who belongs to a scheduled tribe, scheduled caste, other backward group, or economically disadvantaged class and who has achieved 90% or more on the SSLC or secondary PUC test.
Full course fee concession for PMS FAAS, FC, and NUR
Students who participate in this program and have at least 75% attendance and post-matriculation program participation and who are members of a scheduled tribe, scheduled caste, other backward categories, or economically disadvantaged class are eligible for a full course cost concession.
The candidate has to be a Karnataka permanent resident.
The applicant’s family’s yearly income cannot be more than Rs 2,50,000.
Scholarship recipients include students from Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Scheduled Castes (SC).

Eligibility Criteria Under Vidyasiri Scholarship
Qualifications for Complimentary Hostel Rooms
The pupil needs to be a Karnataka resident.
A family’s annual income should not be more than INR 2,50,000.
Any college situated outside the boundaries of their local body (municipality/corporation) should accept the student as an enrolled student in a Post-Matriculation or PUC II course.
PwD, OBC, SC/ST, and BC students must receive at least 40% of the possible points in the qualifying exam.
In the qualifying exam, students in the 2A, 3A, and 3B categories must receive at least 50% of the possible points.
Eligibility for Prathibha Puraskar
Students must have received at least 90% of the possible points in the PUC or SSLC test.
The family income of the students in Category 1 (related SC/ST/OBC/OWD) shall not exceed INR 1,00,000 per year.
The annual family income limit for students in categories 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B is INR 2,50,000.
Students must enroll in professional or higher education programs that have been authorized by the Karnataka government.

Eligibility for Full Course Fee concession
