WBMDFC (West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation), started the Aikyashree Scholarship Programme for minority students (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains) in West Bengal to provide more socio-economic benefits and educational opportunities to them.

Aikyashree Scholarship 2023-24: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Aikyashree Scholarship, you must meet the requirements listed below, per the scholarship program:

Pre-matric Scholarship: Requires students to finish eighth grade satisfactorily.
Post-matric Scholarship: Candidates must be enrolled in 11th or 12th grade courses and in the tenth grade.

How to apply for the Aikyashree Scholarship online

1: Enrollment of Students

Visit the official WBMDFC website or go straight to the Aikyashree Scholarship website.
Select “Registration New.”
Choose the District of your Institute.
Provide your Name, District, Guardian’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email Address, and Bank Account Number on the registration form.
Press “Submit” to continue.

2: Eligibility for Scheme

Complete the website’s eligibility details for the scheme.

3: Finishing the Registration

After the preceding step is finished, a temporary User ID will be created.
You will receive an email with the password; check your inbox or email.

4: Log in as a student

Open the Student Log-In window and log in with the given User ID and Password.

How to Apply for the Aikyshree Scholarship Renewal

Here’s how to apply if you want to renew your Aikyashree Scholarship:

Go to the West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation’s (WBMDFC) official website.
Select the tab labeled “Aikyashree Scholarship.”
Click the button labeled “Renew Application.”
Put in your birthdate and application ID.
You will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number. To move on to the next step, enter the OTP.

How can I get my application ID and password?

The procedures below should be followed if you ever need to get your Aikyashree application ID or password back:

Visit the Aikyashree Scholarship’s official website. Select the Student Login link.
On the login screen, click the “Forgot User ID/Password” option.
Select the Bank Account Number/Application ID, Date of Birth, Registered Mobile Number, Institution District, and Scholarship Registration Year.
The Application ID and Password will be sent via SMS by WBMDFC.

Procedure for Aikyashree Scholarship Renewal:

Go to http://wbmdfcscholarship.in, the online application portal for all scholarships (pre-, post-, MCM, TSP, and SVMCM), and select the Renewal Application 2023–24 option from the homepage.
Next, choose your institution’s district and sign in to the website with your birthdate and Application ID from the prior year.
Your registered mobile number will receive an OTP; enter it to move on to the next step.
The Renew Application and Withdraw Application buttons are located on the Scholarship Dashboard. Select the link labelled “Renew Application.” Verify and preserve all of the information you submitted last year.
You must enter your percentage of marks from your previous class in the following step. After thoroughly reviewing every detail, press the “Submit” button.
Verify your bank information. In case the IFSC code for your bank has changed, go to Edit IFSC and input the updated code. Tik the confirmation window and send in your bank information.
Submit a scanned copy of your most recent exam results or your institute’s verified certificate. For the Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship programmes, no paperwork is needed. (Not Necessary, as there was no exam)
Please provide the number on your ration card as verification of your identity.

Selection Process

Aikyashree scholarship recipients for 2023 will be divided into two groups of students:

Candidates Looking to Renew Their Scholarships

Applications for new scholarships will be evaluated only on the basis of merit, contingent on funds provided by the state government.

Only applicants who have received at least 50% of the possible points in their last exam will be considered for the Renewal Scholarship.
