Details Of Kerala DMS Scholarship 2024

The scholarships will be provided based on the following details:

Post-Matric Scholarship For Minorities: NSP (PMS)

Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for the scholarship, the candidate must meet the following requirements for eligibility:

  • The incoming first-year student of:
    • A higher secondary school, college, institute, or university’s Plus Two, UG, PG, or PhD programme that is either a government-aided or recognised unaided institution.
    • 11th Grade Technical/Vocational Courses at NCVT-affiliated ITI/ITC Centers
    • Any course that isn’t on the merit-cum-means scholarship list.
  • Must be a member of the minority community (Ethiopian, Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh, Zoroastrian, Parsi, or Muslim).
  • Must have received a minimum of 50% or an equivalent grade in the prior board or university exam.
  • The family’s annual income should not be more than two lakh rupees.
  • must not be receiving any additional stipends or scholarships.

Awards/Rewards Details:

The following prizes will be given to the applicant for this scholarship:

  • The annual admission and tuition fees are limited to INR 10,000.
  • Up to INR 1,200 in maintenance reimbursement per month (for ten months)

For Central Sector Scholarship, NSP (CSS)

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Students in Class 12 who score higher than the 80th percentile of qualified applicants may apply for this scholarship.
  • They have to be enrolled in regular undergraduate or graduate degree programmes at universities or colleges approved by the AICTE, UGC, MCI, DCI, or any other regulatory body.
  • The family’s combined yearly income should not exceed INR 8 lakh.

Awards/Rewards Details:

The winners of this scholarship will receive the following honours:

  • Graduation level: INR 10,000 for the first three years and INR 20,000 for the fourth and fifth years (for integrated programmes lasting five years).
  • Level after graduation: INR 20,000 annually

State Merit Scholarship, Kerala

Eligibility Criteria:

For the applicant to be eligible for this scholarship, they must adhere to the following requirements:

  • Students can apply if they are enrolled in a government- or grant-aided college or university’s first year of undergraduate or graduate study.
  • They should be required to receive at least 50% of the possible points in the qualifying exam.
  • The family’s annual income ought to be less than INR one lakh.

Awards/Rewards Details:

The recipients of this scholarship are going to be the following:

  • Postgraduate students: INR 1,250 annually per student, up to 300 students

District Merit Scholarship (DMS), Kerala

Eligibility Criteria:

For the applicant to be eligible for this scholarship, they must adhere to the following requirements:

  • Applications are open to students enrolled in higher secondary, VHSC, ITI, or polytechnic programmes.
  • Students who are enrolled in Sanskrit as a course subject are given less weight than those who are taking Sanskrit as their major.

Merit Scholarship To The Children Of School Teachers, DCE (MSCT)

Eligibility Criteria:

For the applicant to be eligible for this scholarship, they must adhere to the following requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate programme at Govt./Aided Arts and Science College and in the first year of HSC/VHSC.
  • Sons and daughters of elementary and secondary school educators.

Awards/Rewards Details:

The winners of this scholarship will receive the following honours:

  • Plus One: fifty rupees a month
  • Monthly Undergraduate: Rs. 50

Hindi Scholarship: DCE (HS)

Eligibility Criteria:

For the applicant to be eligible for this scholarship, they must adhere to the following requirements:

  • The Hindi Scholarship is open to applicants who have studied Hindi as a major subject in BEd, MEd, MA, MPhil, or PhD programmes, as well as as a subtopic at the degree level.

Awards/Rewards Details:

The winners of this scholarship will receive the following honours:

  • 180 undergraduate students will receive INR 500 each month.
  • Postgraduate students: INR 1,000 per month will be awarded to 59 students.

Muslim Nadar Girls Scholarship, DCE (MNS)

Eligibility Criteria:

For the applicant to be eligible for this scholarship, they must adhere to the following requirements:

  • Only female students who are members of the forward-thinking BPL family and the backward community are eligible for the scholarship.
  • They need to be enrolled in a government-funded or affiliated arts and sciences college or university in the first year of an HSC, VHSC, or undergraduate degree programme.

Awards/Rewards Details:

The winners of this scholarship will receive the following honours:

  • INR 1250 annually to every chosen scholar.

Sanskrit Scholarship: DCE (SSE)

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees with Sanskrit as a subject are eligible for the scholarship.
  • Priority is given to students taking Sanskrit as their major, then to those taking Sanskrit as one of their course subjects.

The winners of this scholarship will receive the following honours:

  • Undergraduate programmes: fifty-five scholars will receive monthly scholarships worth INR 200.
  • Postgraduate courses: twenty-five scholars will receive monthly scholarships worth INR 200.

Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship, DCE (SJMS)

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to apply for this scholarship, the applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Students enrolled in the first year of any undergraduate or graduate degree programme are eligible for the scholarship.
  • They have to be from a BPL household.
  • They must have received 50% or more of the possible points in the most recent qualifying exam.

Awards/Rewards Details:

The recipients of this scholarship are going to be the following:

  • 10,000 Indian rupees a year to further one’s education

MGS Renewal (MGS)

Eligibility Criteria:

For the applicant to be eligible for this scholarship, they must adhere to the following requirements:

  • Must be a native of Kerala and a member of the Muslim, Latin, or converted Christian communities.
  • Should be a female student enrolled in a government- or assisted-run institution for her first year of graduation or higher education.
  • The scholarship is also open to students who were admitted to self-financing colleges on the basis of merit.
  • Must have received at least a 50% on the qualifying exam.
  • A family’s yearly income shouldn’t be more than Rs. 4.50 lakh.
  • Applicants for a hostel stipend ought to be lodging in approved hostels.

For the applicant to be eligible for this scholarship, they must adhere to the following requirements:

  • Students who are blind, physically disabled, or deaf are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • They have to be enrolled in government-funded or assisted colleges of arts and sciences, colleges of music, and higher secondary/vocational higher secondary schools.

Awards/Rewards Details:

The recipients of this scholarship are going to be the following:

  • There will be no fees for blind students whose family income is less than INR 2.5 lakh per year.
  • Hostel fees will be waived for physically disabled students (hostellers) whose family income is less than INR 4.5 lakh.
  • Boarding fees for physically disabled students (day scholars) whose family income is less than INR 4.5 lakh will be waived.

Music Fine Arts Scholarship, DCE (MFAS)

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants for this scholarship must be enrolled in a government fine arts or music college.

Awards/Rewards Details:

The recipients of this scholarship are going to be given the following:

  • financial support up to INR 1,500 annually.
