Kalia Scholarship:- As we previously discussed, the Odisha government launched the Kalia Yojana to provide small, marginal, and landless farmers in the state with some financial support to improve their standard of living. The Kalia Yojana has recently introduced a new initiative known as the Kalia Scholarship, which will be given to the children of farmers who have benefited from the program in the 2024–2025 academic year. The scholarship will motivate these children to complete their education because it will relieve them of the financial burden of paying for their tuition and other essential costs.
For all Odisha students whose parents are engaged in the Kalia Yojana to get financial aid in the form of scholarships to complete their graduation and post-graduation, they must apply for The Kalia Scholarship 2024. The objective of the Odisha Kalia Scholarship
The primary goal of the Kalia Scholarship is to give money to farmers’ children who have already signed up for the Kalia Yojana. Without the burden of worrying about paying for their education, the students will be able to finish their coursework, graduate, and post-graduate courses. With the money going directly into their designated bank accounts, the scholarship’s main beneficiaries will be the students in the SC\ST community. Kalia Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The applicant for the scholarship must meet the following requirements:
- The applicant needs to live permanently in Odisha.
- Parents of pupils must register for the Kalia Yojana.
- The parents should be small-scale, landless, marginal Odisha farmers.
- The Kalia scholarship is open to general, OBC, and SC/ST applicants.
- Students may not apply for more than one Kalia scholarship program at a time. They may only apply for one type of program at a time.
- Students need to be enrolled in classes at all government and vocational colleges.
- Scholarships are only available to students for a single professional course.
- The scholarship covers the following courses: Hotel Management, Pharmacy, Agricultural and Allied Sciences, Animal Husbandry, and a few more.

The students selected for the Kalia Scholarship must get the following benefits:
- The Kalia Scholarship was established for students whose parents are farmers by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment, Government of Odisha.
- State farmers who signed up for the Kerala Yojana would receive financial aid for their schooling.
- With the aid of scholarships, the youngsters will be able to finish their education, graduate, and post-graduate coursework.
- When students enroll in state- or federally-run institutions, they will be eligible for free vocational education.
- For the Kalia scholarship recipients, the Odisha government will be providing funding of about Rs. 10,000 crore.

Reward Details
- The students will get the annual tuition payments, time costs, hostel expenses, and additional fees.
- The student will get the scholarship amount in accordance with the course fee schedule, which is closed in Annexure 1.
- The student would be charged INR 1200 per month for the hostel/mess fees for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses offered by government institutes.
- For ten months, diploma polytechnic ITI students would receive INR 1000 each month.
