As mentioned above, Maulana Azad Scholarship was inaugurated in the year 2002 and 2003. There are almost two types of scholarship present in Maulana Azad Scholarship. Both the scholarships provide extensive encouragement to all the students who are not able to pay their fees due to their high rates. Another important type of scholarship that is provided by the officials of the Maulana Azad Fellowship is the Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship. Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship is available for all girls in college or universities in India only. Through this scholarship, minority students will get a huge incentive amount so that they can pursue their life like any other regular student.

पात्रता मापदंड
दो प्रकार की छात्रवृत्तियाँ मौजूद हैं जो बेगम हज़रत महल छात्रवृत्ति और मौलाना आज़ाद फ़ेलोशिप हैं। दोनों छात्रवृत्तियों के लिए पात्रता मानदंड अलग-अलग नीचे उल्लिखित हैं:-
बेगम हज़रत महल के लिए-
- यह छात्रवृत्ति केवल छात्राओं के लिए है।
- आवेदक को निम्नलिखित में से किसी भी श्रेणी या धर्म से संबंधित होना चाहिए-
- मुसलमानों
- ईसाइयों
- बौद्धों
- जैन
- परसिया
- आवेदक को 9वीं से 12वीं कक्षा में अध्ययनरत होना चाहिए
- आवेदक को पिछली कक्षा में न्यूनतम 50% अंक या समकक्ष अंक प्राप्त होने चाहिए।
- वार्षिक घरेलू आय 2 लाख से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए।
- छात्रवृत्ति एक ही परिवार के दो से अधिक छात्रों पर लागू नहीं है।
For Maulana Azad Fellowship-

- The candidate must comply with the following-
- A regular/full time M.Phil/Ph.D. Course in University/Educational Institution
- The annual household income of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh from all sources.
- The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks at the post graduate level.
- Transgender candidates are also capable to apply under the scheme.
- Reservation is followed as per the norms of Government of India.
प्रोत्साहन राशि
यदि आप मौलाना आज़ाद फ़ेलोशिप या बेगम हज़रत छात्रवृत्ति के तहत अपना नामांकन कराने का प्रयास करते हैं तो आप निम्नलिखित प्रोत्साहन प्राप्त कर सकते हैं: –
बेगम हज़रत महल के लिए-
- फ़ेलोशिप राशि-
- पहले 2 वर्षों के लिए रु. 25,000/- प्रति माह (जेआरएफ)
- शेष वर्षों के लिए रु. 28,000/- प्रति माह (एसआरएफ)
- मानविकी, सामाजिक विज्ञान और वाणिज्य के लिए आकस्मिकता-
- पहले 2 वर्षों के लिए रु. 10,000/- प्रति वर्ष
- शेष समय के लिए रु. 20,500/- प्रति वर्ष
- विज्ञान के लिए आकस्मिकता-
- शुरुआती 2 वर्षों के लिए 12,000/- रुपये प्रति वर्ष
- शेष समय के लिए रु. 25,000/- प्रति वर्ष
- एस्कॉर्ट्स/रीडर सहायता-
- शारीरिक और दृष्टिबाधित उम्मीदवारों के मामले में रु. 2,000/- प्रति माह
मौलाना आज़ाद फ़ेलोशिप-
- कक्षा IX और X के लिए- 5000 रुपये की दो किस्तों में 10,000 रुपये।
- कक्षा XI और XII के लिए- 6000 रुपये की दो किश्तों में 12,000 रुपये।
