The primary requirement for being eligible for any Mizoram scholarship is being a resident of Mizoram state, either permanently or as a domicile. 1. CSIR Fellowship

Category: General, SC/ST/OBC

Eligibility criteria:

Applicants with a BS-4, BE, B.Tech, B.Pharm, MBBS, or Integrated BS-MS degree are qualified to apply.
The candidates ought to be registered in the MS-Ph.D. course.
The students ought to have received 50% for SC, ST, OBC, and physically disabled students and 55% for general grades.
The maximum age to be eligible for JRF is 28, with a 5-year grace period for SC, ST, OBC, and other categories.

Awards:

The chosen students will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000 for two years. During the remaining two years of the programme, the students will receive contingency grants totaling Rs. 20,000.

2. INSPIRE Scholarship

Category: General, SC/ST/OBC
Eligibility criteria:

The students’ ages should range from 17 to 22.
They have to be in the top 1% of pupils who passed the Class 12 exam overall.
After Class 12, the candidates must be enrolled in courses like Natural or Basic Sciences at the B.Sc. or M.Sc. level.
Candidates who scored in the top 10,000 on the AIEEE exam passed the CBSE PMT and chose to major in basic science.
The applicants must be International Olympiad medalists, scholars from the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), or scholars from the Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS).

Awards:

A scholarship worth ₹80,000 annually and ₹20,000 for summer research projects will be awarded to the chosen scholars.
Moreover, a ₹5,000 monthly scholarship is offered.

3. Merit cum means scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Minority

Eligibility criteria:

They ought to be Mizoram state citizens.
Students in the SC, ST, OBC, and minority groups should be enrolled.
The previous qualifying exam should have yielded at least 50% of the possible points.
A family’s annual income shouldn’t be more than ₹2,50,000.
For female candidates, the total scholarship amount is set at 30%.

4. NEC Merit Scholarship
