Eligibility criteria

Applicants must fulfil the following requirements in order to be eligible for the Post-Matric Scholarship in Bihar:

• The candidate has to live in Bihar permanently.
• The candidate must be enrolled in Post-Matric courses at any government or approved non-government institution in the state of Bihar, including Inter, Graduation, Post-Graduate (PG), ITI, 3-year Diploma/Polytechnic, B.Ed., Medical, Engineering, Law, Management, and Agricultural
• The candidate needs to have received at least 50% of the possible points in their prior class exam.
• Bihar Post Matric Scholarship applications are open to students who fall into the SC, ST, BC, and EBC categories and whose parents’ or guardians’ total annual income does not exceed Rs. 3,00,000/-.
• The applicant should not have received any additional scholarships for the same course from any other source.
