Pragati Scholarship Eligibility

- Pragati Scholarship Amount for Undergraduate (UG): an annual sum of Rs. 50,000/-for each year of study, or a maximum of 4 years for first-year enrolled students and 3 years for second-year admitted students through lateral entry. You can spend this cash in one big amount to pay for things like books, equipment, software, stationery, computers, and other educational costs. No further funding will be provided to cover expenses for housing, healthcare, etc.
Criteria of Selection
- Diploma: The selection of candidates for the Technical Diploma program at any AICTE-approved institution will be based solely on their merit, based on their percentage of marks from the 10th or equivalent exam, and whether they qualify for the program through lateral entry or first year at any institution.
- Undergraduate (UG): The Pragati Scholarship candidates will be selected solely on the basis of their merit for passing the qualifying exam to enroll in a technical degree program in the first or second year (through lateral entry only) at any AICTE-approved institution, and not on the basis of the percentage of marks they obtained in the equivalent examination of 10+2.

Renewal Process
- The Pragati Scholarship 2024 Last Date will be extended for a further year of study upon submission of a letter from the head of the institution and a mark sheet or passing certificate when the National Scholarship Portal receives a request for renewal.
