Terms and Conditions
The Sanskrit scholarship’s terms and conditions must be reviewed by applicants.
- The applicant must have received at least 60% (General), 55% (OBC), 50% (SC/ST/Divine Body), or an equivalent grade in their previous academic level.
- Sanskrit, Pali, or Prakrit must be chosen by the applicant as either the primary or elective subject for additional study.
- The scholarship must be reapplied for by applicants. The following academic year does not automatically renew it.
- No document should need to be uploaded or sent via mail or another method.
- For the purpose of transferring cash, students must create an account with any nationalized bank, ideally State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Indian Bank, Canara Bank, or Union Bank of India.
- The Aadhar number and bank account must be linked.
- Every academic year, on July 1st, the scholarship amount will be due.
- The advantages of this program will not be available to students who are currently receiving another scholarship.
- The benefits of this program will not be available to students who take up paid employment while they are receiving the scholarship.
- The benefits of this program will not be available to students enrolled in any other course of study that does not include Sanskrit.
