Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship: The main objective of the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students in the state. Students in West Bengal who are unable to pay their tuition fees can now continue their studies as the government will bear the cost of their education. This initiative will increase the literacy rate in the state along with providing employment. Through this program, students will be able to overcome the financial burden that their education has put on them. All students from economically challenged families in the state will be eligible for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Program.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2022
As you all know, the Government of West Bengal has developed the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Scheme for students. This program provides financial aid to qualified students from low-income families in the state.
All the students who have secured the 60 percentile or above in the state board exam are eligible for this program. Earlier, 75 percent of the eligibility criteria were applied to the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Programme. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has changed the eligibility requirements. Students with a grade point average of 60 percent or above are now eligible to apply for this program. On this occasion, the Chief Minister virtually honored at least 1700 students of secondary, higher secondary, and madrassa examinations. Laptop computers were given to the students. In addition, the students are provided with literature from renowned Bengali authors. The annual income limit of a family under this scheme is Rs 2,50,000.

Other Criteria for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal.
- He is studying in a West Bengal Educational Institution at the Secondary level and above after graduation from a State Board, Board of Secondary/Further Secondary Education, Madrassa Education, or State University.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Application Form is released online and candidates can apply online through the official website.
For login renewal, the login ID and password will be the same as the applicant had originally applied for.
Within one month, upload all the required papers for Swami Vivekananda Renewal Form.
The required documentation to be submitted should be submitted twice and in case of semester examination; Year wise mark sheet. The following documents are required:
