Maulana Scholarship: The Maulana Azad Scholarship was inaugurated in the years 2002 and 2003. And there are almost two types of scholarship present in the Maulana Azad Scholarship. Both scholarships provide a wide range of incentives to all the students who are not able to pay their fees due to their high rates. Another important type of scholarship that is provided by the officials of the Maulana Azad Fellowship is the Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship. Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship is only available for all girl students in colleges or universities in India. Through this scholarship minority students will get a huge incentive amount so that they can lead their life like any other regular student.

There exist two types of scholarship Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship and the Maulana Azad Fellowship. The eligibility criteria for both scholarships are given below separately:-

The scholarship amount is Rs 5,000 for classes 9th and class 10th and Rs 6,000 for classes 11th and class 12th. And the scholarship amount will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries. Also, the applicant can check the scholarship amount by visiting the concerned bank. Any other mode of payment of scholarship amounts such as payment by transfer to parent/guardian’s account and payment through check media is not available under any circumstances.

Applicants for the Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship formerly known as Maulana Azad Education Scholarship are selected on the basis of their annual family income. A student with at least 50% marks in the previous examinations is selected for the scholarship. And the annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs 2 lakh.

Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship is a national-level scholarship for girl students from minority communities. Launched by Maulana Azad Education Foundation, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, this scheme supports the education of girl students studying in classes 9 to 12. The scheme was earlier known as Maulana Azad Scholarship for Girls.
Only girl students belonging to the six notified minority communities i.e. Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi are eligible.
Both the scholarships are the same, earlier BHMNS was known as Maulana Azad Scholarship.

According to the Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship Scheme, students of classes 9th to 10th will be given Rs 5000 per candidate, and students of classes 11th to 12th will be given Rs 6000 per candidate.
The selection is based on a minimum 50% percentage required for this scholarship and community and income certificate
The scholarship amount can be deposited directly into the account of the recipient through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.
