PM Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) 2023-24: Update, Eligibility, Rewards and Application Form

PM Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) 2023–24: The Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme was launched in the academic year 2006–07 to encourage higher technical and professional education for dependent wards of ex-servicemen and ex-coast guard personnel, as well as their widows (below officer rank only).

It is managed by the Indian government’s Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence, and Kendriya Vidhyalaya Sainik Board Secretariat (KSB PMSS; www.ksb.gov.in). Our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a small step to support worthy candidates’ pursuit of higher professional and technical education. The scholarship will be awarded to the widows and wards of Ex/Serving/RPF/RPSF/CAPF/Armed Rifles in order to provide them with better job opportunities in the future. The candidates who are related by blood to someone serving in the armed forces or who have served in them have been fairly represented by the scholarship. With the exception of January through April, the scholarship is offered all year long. A certain amount of rewards and privileges will be granted to the chosen candidate each month.
