Who can apply and get Aakash Scholarship?
Class 8th, Class 9th, Class 10th, Class 11th, Class 12th, and Class 12th passed students can register for the scholarship test. You can choose any of the Medical, Engineering, and Foundation Classroom Courses – Regular and Hybrid, One Year, Two Year, and Repeater Courses. The scholarship can be availed for any class course.
Apart from this, there are some other categories and criteria where the scholarship is awarded. Scholarship students at Aakash are broadly divided into three categories:
- Merit Scholarship (Scholarship based on merit)
- Other Scholarships (Scholarships for Special Cases)
- Ex-Akashians Scholarship (Scholarship for Ex-Akashians)
Merit Scholarship
Merit Scholarship is awarded solely on the basis of a student’s performance in-
- Admission cum Scholarship Test (ACST, IACST) / Aakash National Talent Hunt Test (ANTHE)
- Class VIII / IX / X and/or Class XII Marking System
- class x grade system
- NTSE & KVPY Scholarship Test
- HBCSE and Mathematical Olympiad
- NEET & JEE (Mains & Advanced) Entrance Exams
Other Scholarships
Other scholarships are given in some special cases like –
- Single Parent/Divorced: Due consideration is given to the student who has lost his father and is being brought up by his mother only. This facility will also be given to the wards of divorced women.
- Sibling: Due consideration is given to a student who already has a sibling studying in any of Aakash’s classroom courses
- Defense/Police: Suitable scholarship is given to the children of various Defense Personnel currently serving in the Indian Armed Forces.
- Martyr: Due consideration is given to the student who has lost his/her father/mother during the war, terrorist war, or his/her service in Govt. Operation.
X-Akashians Scholarship-
Concession is offered to our alumni –
- Who has ever studied in any course of Aakash?
- He must have paid the full fee for the course.
- This benefit will not be given to the dropout/dropper.
Note: Scholarship is awarded towards tuition fees only. The student is required to submit proof for the same in order to avail of the benefits of the respective scholarship. The details and eligibility of the scholarship are given in the later sections.
Scholarship means Fee Concession, Fee Exemption, and Fee Waiver: If at any point in time the Government decides to levy GST on Scholarship / Concession Amount / Fee Waiver and Award Amount, the GST will be borne by the students/parents/guardians.

How to register for the exam?
- Step 1: Enter mobile number
- Visit https://nest.aakash.ac.in/scholarship and enter your mobile number to receive the verification code.
- Step 2: OTP Verification
- Enter the OTP received to verify your mobile number.
- Step 3: Fill out the Registration Form
- Fill in your details to complete your registration.
- Step 4: Make Payment
- Complete the process by paying the examination fee.
- Step 5: Registration Complete
- Congratulations. You are now a Nest Aspirant.
- Your Online Nest User ID is: (Student Roll Number) and your Password is your Date of Birth (DDMMYYYY)
- Please complete your profile by filling in the required details.
- To start the exam, use your User ID and Password to log in.
- The duration of the exam is 120 minutes and the timing of the exam is between 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
- The test once started has to be completed in one sitting.
Steps to writing an online exam
- Step 1: Visit the Nest site online or download the app
- Visit https://aakash.embibe.com or download the Aakash CBT app from App Store or Google Pay.
- Step 2: Log in
- Log in with your User ID and Password on the web or app.
- Step 3: Take the Online Exam
- Write the test and click on submit on completion. The time of the exam is between 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
- Step 4: Get Attractive Scholarships
- Submit the exam with the percentage of marks secured on the day of the exam result and get the scholarship. Please call the nearest Aakash Center to start your admission process.

FAQs on Aakash Scholarship Test
Is Aakash’s exam difficult?
Yes, they are strict. And scoring 380-450 in them is good enough. There are very good chances that you will score more than 500 in NEET. Just be consistent and don’t give up.
Does Akash pay money to toppers?
Students enrolled in more than one course will be entitled to a single award based on their rank. The prize money is inclusive of GST. Award scholarship is applicable only to All India Rank of General Category and not to rank under any other head like SC, ST, OBC, PH, Defense, etc.
Are there previous exam MCQs?
Aakash ANTHE 2022 is conducted for a duration of 90 minutes in which students have to attempt a total of 35 MCQs
What is the good percentage in ANTHE?
A student must maintain good performance i.e. must have secured either an average of 65% marks for the Medical/Foundation stream and 60% for the Engineering stream in all objective tests conducted by AESL (including All India Aakash Test Series – AIATS) OR Must maintain an AIR in the apex. 300 in each AIATS as part of Classroom/Hybrid
