Reliance Foundation Scholarships 2024: Reliance has been providing scholarships to worthy students for over 25 years. The company’s founder and chairman, Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, believed that the best way to ensure the progress of the nation was to invest in the next generation of leaders. 13,000 young people in India have benefited from Reliance Foundation scholarship programmes over the years.

Through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships, up to 5,000 deserving undergraduate students from disadvantaged backgrounds will receive financial support in 2022–2023. The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships will provide academic support to 100 of India’s most talented postgraduate students pursuing subjects related to emerging technologies.

The goal of the Reliance Foundation Scholarships is to support and empower deserving students so they can go on to further their education, become young professionals, and contribute to the development of India.

Eligibility Criteria for Reliance Foundation Scholarships 2024

Reliance Scholarship for Undergraduate Students

1. Students must be enrolled in a recognised Indian institute or university’s first-year full-time undergraduate degree programme in any stream.

2. must have earned at least 60% of their class 12 diploma.

3. Less than INR 15 lakh should be the annual household income (students with family incomes under INR 2,50,000 will be given preference).

4. This scholarship is only available to Indian citizens who reside in their country.

Reliance Scholarship for PG-Postgraduate Scholarships

1. Only students enrolled in the following streams’ first-year full-time postgraduate degree programmes are eligible to apply for this scholarship:

  • Computer Science
  • Mathematics and Computing
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Renewable and New Energy
  • Material Sciences and Engineering
  • Life Sciences

2. Either have a GATE score of 500 to 1,000 or a minimum undergraduate CGPA (or percentage normalised to CGPA) of 7.5 or higher. [If pupils haven’t tried GATE]

3. This scholarship is only available to Indian citizens who reside in their country.

For Undergraduate

  • The Reliance Foundation will provide up to 100 postgraduate scholarships, each worth up to Rs. 6 lakhs, during the duration of the degree.
  • There will be a rigorous and competitive selection process used to identify and select the best students in India for the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships. We welcome applications from students of all socioeconomic backgrounds, and scholarships will be awarded based solely on merit. Candidates with special needs and members of the underprivileged community may also receive extra consideration.

For UG

  • The test duration will be 60 minutes and will contain 60 multiple-choice questions.
  • Components of the test include verbal ability, analytical and logical ability, and numerical ability.

  • Each applicant must complete the aptitude test online.

  • Interview Stage: All candidates will participate in webinars to prepare for interviews.
  • The expert panel will conduct virtual interviews.
